Community Liaison
WP2 intends to establish a community liaison group (CLG) comprising a membership drawn from a range of local stakeholders as a means of providing;
1. A channel for the company to communicate news to community representatives
2. A forum for our stakeholders to table and discuss issues relating to the development of the energy from waste facility which are of interest to the community
It is planned to set this forum up during the autumn of 2010
This section of the website will be used to provide information about the activities of the CLG and will, in due course, include information including;
- Background to the CLG
- Summary terms of reference
- Composition and membership
- Meetings – dates and notes
- Tools and resources
- Useful links
- Presentations to the committee
Anyone representing a section of the local community who would like to be considered for membership of the CLG, when it is set up, should email to express their interest, with details of the group or organisation they represent, to richard.storey@wp2ltd.co.uk. Representatives should be members of a recognised and formally constituted organisation from the public, private and social sectors.
